EURITO Pilot Scale-Up Validation Workshop (20th June 2019, Madrid, Spain)

On the 20 June 2019, the ‘EURITO Pilot Scale-Up Validation Workshop’ took place in Madrid, Spain, inviting key Research and Innovation (R&I) policy actors and data experts. The objective was to share ideas and experiences which help us in validating and improving the design of our pilots to develop Relevant, Inclusive, Timely, Trusted and Open (RITO) indicators about emerging technologies, research funding analytics, and socio-demographic diversity, using novel data sources and predictive analytical methods, with the goal of informing and implementing mission-oriented R&I policies in the EU.

This event aimed to shed light on the requirements, characteristics, data sources, methodology and potential applications to be taken into account to identify and produce indicators that will support better decisions with bigger (and better measured) impacts in R&I policymaking.
